Exclusive use of The Forge Writing Room, with under table electrical sockets for laptops and good wifi, as well as flip chart and projector/screen available on request
Three comfortable farmhouse bedrooms, all equipped with good wifi and their own writing desk
Hayloft sitting room to relax and connect with colleagues
Buffet breakfast in the Hayloft upstairs kitchen
Lunch and Dinner as a group, cooked from scratch to suit individual dietary needs.
Teas, coffees. cordials and fruit available all day
Home-made cake in the afternoons

We tailor each Retreat space to the participants and remain on hand for the whole weekend. We are able to respond to needs of the group as you work through your writing tasks.

Meeting Room Bookings for local groups and businesses:

The Forge Writing Room can be booked by local groups and businesses for meetings or Day Retreats.

Rates start at £30 for a half day, 9am to 12 noon or 2pm to 5pm, or £50 for the full day, 9am to 5pm. The room hire includes coffee, teas and cordials.

A two course lunch can be ordered as an extra, to suit dietary requirements of your group. This will be served either outside in The Courtyard, or in the main farmhouse kitchen if you are with us in the colder months. This is charged at £10 per participant.
